I’ve always loved the idea of mirrors as portals to other worlds – to something either wonderful or terrifying.
During the pandemic I needed both a creative outlet and a distraction, but my only model was myself. So the mirror series became a self portrait project, with the mirror manifesting the world created by whatever book I was reading at the time. A few photos from the series were published Practical Photography’s July 2020 Issue.
